Alamo Truck Driving School offers lifetime career services assistance to its graduates. We understand that good interviewing techniques and job seeking skills often make the successes of our students as they enter the Trucking Industry. Throughout the entire training period, we work closely with our students to develop their job seeking skills. Students are advised on topics ranging from filling out employment applications to developing professional attitude and work habits that employers look for.
We work closely with several local and interstate trucking companies who employ entry-level truck drivers. Every effort will be made to place our graduates. Upon finishing the course program, graduates are introduced to recruiting firms for job opportunities. We will also continue to help all graduates with career services throughout their careers.
Alamo T.D.S. has assisted in the driver placement process throughout every aspect of the trucking industry. This includes: over-the-road truck drivers, tanker truck drivers, beverage industry truck drivers, construction truck drivers, doubles and triples truck drivers, flatbed truck drivers, logging truck drivers and hazmat truck drivers.
According to the Bureau of Labor and Statistics, truck driving is one of the fastest growing professions in the nation. It is expected that the demand will grow by 18% between now and 2010. That means 589,000 new jobs will be created, and the demand for trucking professionals is ever increasing.
